My dear friends, Joel and Michael, recently lost their 17 year old super-dog, Rocky and I realized that we don't have any pet sympathy cards. Melanie has created this sweet and touching design and we will add a few more over the next few weeks. I hope you don't have to send one!

I was walking in my neighborhood and overheard two gals chatting over Jamba Juices on Larchmont. One was saying how great her friend looked and her pal said "I finally lost those friggin' last five pounds" Bingo! I immediately asked the super talented Melanie to design a congrats on losing a few pounds eCard and here it is. Nice summer touches, don't you think? Don't wait for someone to send it to you if you've lost a couple of pounds..send it to yourself. You so deserve it.

Doggy eCards...people or dogs? you decide
As you can tell I'm on a mission to add lots of animal eCards to the site. I personally love pets (we have an old beagle, Bozo along with two wild cats, Carla and Junior) so I've comissioned lots of new eCards with pet themes. I found Kelly Pound's work on eBay and thought that her art would make fantastic eCards. Enjoy these five designs and be on the lookout for more over the next few months. Kelly's site is Pounddesigns.com and feel free to buy her artwork. I'm also thinking of having her create some sock puppet eCards. What do you think?
